The Gospel of Luke is 24 chapters long, and the last 6 of those chapters are devoted to the the last week and resurrection of Jesus. It’s like Luke slows down when he gets to this point in the story- a contrast to the way we usually approach these chapters. We typically reserve them for Holy Week, moving quickly from Palm Sunday straight to Easter.

I’m glad that for the next several weeks, we’re going to slow down with Luke and study the events between Palm Sunday and Easter.

Things like:
-His teaching in that last week.
-The plot to kill him.
-The betrayal and arrest.
-The “trial.”
-The crucifixion.
-His death.

Join us on Sunday mornings as we dig down together into the story of the one who has died that we might have life.

Yours in Christ,
Pastor Daniel
