On Planting Seeds and Bearing Fruit
I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. 1 Corinthians 3:6
On our first day in Guatemala, we went to the La Patria Norte School in Coban. We met students, teachers, and staff, enjoying sincere and warm hospitality. One of the highlights from touring the school was meeting with the Agroforestry students. With those students as our guides, we had the chance to plant seeds in freshly prepared soil and also to harvest radishes that were ready to be eaten.
For the rest of the trip, I thought about tiny seeds growing to a bountiful harvest, but it became very real days later when we used shovels to plant more seeds- not literal seeds, but we broke ground on the new Westminster Building at the Presbyterian Complex, where La Patria School will move after construction is complete.
Seeds have been planted, and our partnership with the LaPatria School is growing. Will you join me in prayer for the lives that will be touched, the people who will come to Jesus, the difference that will be made over time in Coban, and any other fruit God causes to grow?
