Worship on the Lord’s Day

We invite you to join us for worship each Sunday at 8:45 or 11:00 am. All are welcome in the name of Jesus Christ.

Child care is available with nursery pagers that vibrate if your child needs your attention in the nursery. At the 11:00 service, children five years and younger may go to Children’s Church following the Children’s Time. All who work with children at Westminster have completed Child Protection Training and have passed a background check.

The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month and at other times during the year as approved by the Session. The invitation to the Lord’s Supper is extended to all who acknowledge their need of salvation through Jesus Christ.  When we gather to celebrate the gift of Christ’s body and blood, we do not gather around the Presbyterian Table, but the Lord’s Table and our Savior invites all who trust in him to come and share in the gifts of God, given for the people of God.

The sacrament of Baptism is administered during the morning worship service by arrangement with the pastor and the Session. Baptism enacts and seals what the Word proclaims: God’s redeeming grace offered to all people. When an infant or child is baptized, the parents and the church commit themselves to nurturing the child in faith until such time the child is able to publicly claim the faith as his own. When adults are baptized, they make a public profession of faith.

Christmas Eve

We offer two services on Christmas Eve. The first is a service for families with young children. The second is a traditional service of lessons and carols with candlelighting.

Holy Week and Easter

At Westminster, we commemorate Jesus Christ’s sacrifice, death, and resurrection with a series of three services: Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday morning, when we celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord.  The service is enhanced with the addition of brass and string instruments.
