COVID-19 Update

Dear Westminster Family and Friends:

The Session met on Sunday, May 31 to prayerfully discuss our plans for rebounding from Covid-19.  Here are some of the highlights:

  1. We hope to resume in-person Sunday morning worship (8:45 and 11:00) on June 21, and we will meet again on June 14 to finalize that date.  The decision was unanimous after considering several options.  When we do return to in-person Sunday worship, we’ll observe the same safety protocols we’re following for the Daily Prayer services, and we will continue to livestream the 11:00 service for those who prefer to stay at home.
  2. We hope to resume small indoor (<20 people) in-person meetings and gatherings on June 21 as well, and again we will finalize that decision on the 14th.  Indoor protocols include hand sanitizer available, facemasks required and provided, and 6 ft social distancing.  In the meantime, outdoor gatherings are permitted with social distancing and hand sanitizer available.
  3. Sunday School: we will exclusively utilize E-learning options all summer.  Pre-recorded videos for children, resources for Youth, and a ZOOM class for adults.

We are aware of both the uncertainties of the current situation and the promises of God in the midst of any challenge.  We encourage you to rest in the knowledge of God’s good care for you.  He will never leave you or forsake you!

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Daniel
